1. Development is more important than team success.
2. Winning is the logical consequence of maximizing each and every individual's potential.

4. The club encourages its players to be well-rounded individuals by experiencing all sports.
5. No player with potential will ever be turned away because of insufficient financial capability.
6. No personal growth will occur without self-confidence and high self esteem.
7. Sweat plus sacrifice equals success.
8. Try to set standards that will make other people wish to participate in the club program.
9. Attract players by creating a positive atmosphere and personal development, rather than soliciting players from other teams. Players should strive to join the club, rather than be coerced into joining.
10. You are never beaten until you quit.
11. You must believe to achieve.
12. How a person plays the game shows something of their character. How they lose shows all of it.
13. Persistent failure to attend practices or games, discipline problems, or persistent violent or unsportsman like conduct, when documented, may be grounds for reduction in playing time or evaluation during the annual tryouts.
14. The club wishes to maintain continuity of team organization, within KSYA guidelines, for the benefit of the players. The club believes that each player will develop more when the impact of having to "re-socialize" each year with teammates is minimized.
15. Success depends on your backbone, not your wishbone.
16. To succeed, do the best you can, where you are, with what you have.
17. No person was ever honored for what he/she received. Honor has been the reward for what he/she gave.
18. Those who can but won't must give way to those who try.

WFC Strikers

The U12 Girls team (WFC Strikers) has WON 3 games in the Kansas State Cup Tournament and is in the finals on Thursday Jun 10, 2010. Wish them Luck. One game away from Winning the State Cup title!!!!

** The Strikers finish 1-0 against the KC Premier. The KC team scored late in the game to win the state champions. It was a great season for the team. Good job girls.
